APPRECIATION
A special thanks goes to Ed Rauch, Program Consultant, for his
contribution and testing to the Config/Autoexec Manager v1.0.
His understanding and patience has been tested. We do thank you
for being patient and providing an insight toward making this
program what it is today. Thanks, Ed!!
INTRODUCTION
This program was developed to aid users and engineers who use
multiple CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files to execute a variety
of programs with different configurations on PC/MS-DOS based
computers. This program is the result of combined efforts of
Scott Miller and Ed Rauch to develop a program that can
effortlessly manage these different configurations with high-
speed manueverability. This program was written and compiled
under Borland's Turbo Pascal v5.5.

INSTALLATION
To install this program, you must create a directory on your
destination disk, e.g. C>MD CAM, and copy the CAM.EXE file to
that directory. See DOS manual for creating directories and
copying files. Then you must type CAM at the DOS prompt,
e.g. C>CAM, and press the ENTER key. CAM will create its files
and prompt you to change its Options, if needed. CAM will then
allow you to Update Configurations, that is, create new or change
existing configurations. CAM will automatically locate and copy
your CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files into its directory and
name it as a STANDARD CONFIGURATION. Upon exiting, CAM
Installation will then be complete and you may run CAM at the DOS
prompt.
